Comedy Stage Hypnosis gets people excited about the possibilities of hypnosis; it gets them laughing, energizes them and makes them feel great.
I love the wide-ranging appeal of comedy hypnosis. It's playful, it evokes a sense of discovery and delight, and it's not only great fun for the audience: The people who come up on stage and volunteer have the most fun of all.
I've heard of shows where people do embarrassing things they'd like to forget, but I don't think it's funny to humiliate people. Instead, I create an experience where everyone — on stage and off — enjoys the show and remembers it for years.
In my 30-year background in hypnosis, communication, and conflict resolution, I've enjoyed working in the corporate arena and as a volunteer for nonprofit organizations. (Some would say a chronic volunteer!) I'm a member of the Oregon Hypnotherapy Association and the National Guild of Hypnotists, and I see clients at a hypnosis clinic in Beaverton, Oregon. I also visit Apositiva Center's hypnotherapy certification program in Portland, Oregon, as an occasional guest trainer. I hold a master practitioner certification in NLP and I write about hypnosis and communication on my blog.
